🌙 Privacy Policy

Me3ad Calendar is an Islamic calendar app that provides Hijri dates, prayer times, Qibla direction, moon phases, and athan notifications. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

1. Data We Collect

Me3ad Calendar collects only the minimum information required to deliver its core features:

• Location data — used to calculate prayer times and Qibla direction. Coordinates may be sent to Aladhan for this purpose, or processed temporarily by our server when you choose to create a property video. Our analytics do not store those coordinates.
• Notification preferences — stored locally on your device to schedule prayer-time athan alerts.
• Calendar events — any events you create are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted externally.
• Anonymous usage analytics — the app sends a random installation identifier, app version, platform, and two-letter device region with API requests. The server stores only a keyed, non-reversible hash for up to 30 days to measure active installations and service usage by country. IP addresses are not used to determine country.
• App settings — calculation method, prayer school, and language preferences are stored locally.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, or any account credentials.
• We do not store your location on any server.
• We do not build advertising profiles or sell your data.
• We do not track your activity across other apps or websites.

3. Third-Party Services

• RevenueCat — manages in-app subscriptions. See RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
• Apple App Store / StoreKit — all payments processed by Apple. See Apple Privacy Policy.
• Aladhan API — prayer times fetched using your coordinates. No personal identifiers sent.

4. Location Permissions

The app requests location access to calculate prayer times and Qibla. You can revoke it anytime in iPhone Settings → Me3ad Calendar.

5. Notifications

Athan notifications are generated entirely on your device. No data is sent to external servers. Disable anytime in iPhone Settings → Notifications → Me3ad Calendar.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Anonymous installation activity is automatically deleted from the server after 30 days. The app does not create an account or store your name or email. Deleting the app removes local data, and a later installation creates a new random identifier.

7. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. No advertising or social features exist in the app.
